Old Harvey’s Rye

Old Harvey was a white bulldog who served as the mascot of the 104th Ohio Infantry during the Civil War. Known for his courage and resilience, Harvey participated in numerous battles, including the Atlanta campaign. Old Harvey’s story is one of endurance and adaptability – qualities we admire in both service dogs and fine rye whiskey. Throughout the war, Harvey was a constant presence, boosting morale and standing alongside his human comrades in the face of adversity.
