Advisory Board Member

Aimee Pila-Bravo is the Director of the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative (LAVC) at Southern California Grantmakers. She also currently serves as a Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserves.

After transitioning from Active Duty, she pursued higher education at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, concentrating in Social Change and Innovation (SCI) and Military Social Work.

Veteran Advocacy and Community Engagement

Aimee’s passion for serving the veteran community deepened as she co-facilitated the Los Angeles Veterans Orientation (LAVO)—a program designed to connect transitioning service members to local resources through quarterly in-person gatherings.

After returning from her second deployment in 2019, Aimee brought her clinical and macro-level expertise to the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative, where she now leads a collective impact initiative involving over 2,000 veteran service organizations across Los Angeles County.

Personal Commitment and Leadership

Aimee brings a wealth of real-world experience and a deep passion for community service to all of her roles. She is not only a leader in the field but also personally connected to the military community as the spouse of an Army veteran.

She is the proud mother of a beautiful baby girl and is currently expecting her second child in July.
